The building of that cold store plant started in the year 1999 and by the 2001 a modern, contemporary cooling facility starts with production. The capacity of that cooling facility is 1000 tons. During the building process itself, as from the day one of production, we have come to understanding that we can fulfill even the most rigorous demands, standards, and regulations requested by the “picky” European markets, and therefore, we pay the utmost attention not to stray from that road, but to constantly stand acceptable for our western partners and buyers. Our efforts were crowned in the year 2005 by the ISO 9001:2000 and HACCP management certificates and standards.

Basic profile of the ABd-prom company

The Cold store, consists of 3 chambers for storage of frozen fruits, three classical deep freezing storage tunnels, for processing and packing of fruits, as well as pre-cooling premises for primary storage of fresh fruits, or truck-loading of the frozen ones. Equipped with latest and most efficient automatic units of temperature control, excellent automated palette package unit, along with modern measuring instruments, and also perfect in sanitary and hygiene conditions, with labels from most eminent French company Pro Froid, our Cold Store is, by all euro standards, a modern, eco non aggressive, facility for the New Millennium… Besides, as we naturally, pay the utmost attention to the origin control of the fruits that we put to deep freezing, this is concluded by the constant surveillance of the sorting, packing and freezing processes. Therefore, we can, at any moment, give you the Guarantee that the fruits frozen in our plant, are of the superb quality.
- The Chambers have a 8000 m3 capacity, suitable for the 1500 T of frozen goods.
- The capacity of the freezer in the three tunnel mentioned before, is, within the frame of 24 hours, approximately 70 t.
- Pre-cooling space in our facility for accepting or delivery of the frozen fruits is 150 T within 24 hours
- In prechamber, the frozen fruits are being sorted and packed, in two continuous lanes. The employees of ABD-PROM have perfected this part of the process to the maximum.
